At long last, the new and improved GURO-AN website has opened.
What kind of a place would I like GURO-AN to become?
The answer lies in So Ishikawa’s words
in this month’s June NATURE Report:
Bright sunlight and deep shadow?
These are not signs we associate with June. What does this ask of us?
What can we do in order to coexist with nature?
Please join me in thinking about this.
In this age of climate change, “Guro-An” must be a place to meditate
on nature’s beauty and rhythms,
from the perspective of our being a part of it.
A place for listening to nature’s voice and thinking,
“What does this ask of us?”
And a place where we consult “old wisdom” to help us learn how to
coexist with nature once again.
Together, let us make GURO-AN a place for actively sharing
our voices.

Thank Mr. Brian.
I’ve savored the following sentences several times.
“In this age of climate change, “Guro-An” must be a place to meditate on nature’s beauty and rhythms, from the perspective of our being a part of it.
A place for listening to nature’s voice and thinking, “What does this ask of us?” And a place where we consult “old wisdom” to help us learn how to coexist with nature once again.”
I remembered the words of Leonardo da Vinci.
“All visible things were brought force by nature and these children have given birth to painting. Therefore may justly speak of it as the grandchild of Nature and as related to God.” -The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci
Thank you.
